Prof. Yeglin received her Ph.D. in Hebrew Literature in 1998 from Tel-Aviv University. There she taught a wide variety of courses on literature, poetics, and literary criticism as well as focused seminars on the works of individual modern Israeli authors. Dr. Yeglin’s teaching and research interests include modern Hebrew poetry, Israeli culture and society, poetics, and modernism in Israeli, Jewish, Russian, and German literature. Her major publications include a widely acclaimed study of the poetry of Lea Goldberg, Perhaps with Different Eyes: Modern Classicism and Classical Modernism in Lea Goldberg’s Poetry (Tel-Aviv University Press, 2002; in Hebrew) and a number of articles on the works of Dalia Rabikovitch, David Avidan, Nathan Zach, Amichai, and other authors. Soon to be published with Sifriat Poalim Press is her edition Golden Love Poems: The Complete Sonnets of Lea Goldberg.
